After hearing that Zoolander was going to have a sequel, I called a Paramount Pictures licensing agent that I found from the internet and told him that I wanted to do an official Zoolander collaboration, but I would only do it with a Fashion Show with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. I thought it would be a clever way to promote the new movie. I have a friend that loves to have a huge rolodex of people, during the sony hacks a lot of peoples information leaked. One of those people who's information leaked was Jerry Stiller, Ben stiller father. His home phone and cell phone both leaked. I mustered up the courage and I cold called the cell phone, which Jerry didn't pick up, but I think it is important to note that his answering machine is him singing haha. Anyways, I called the home and a lady, who must have been there secretary picked up and I started rambling saying I was already in works with Paramount Pictures for licensing rights and

]]>A silly project I tried to make go viral.
I realized after talking to a lot of my friends that not many of them were politically aware, nor did they know anything about the candidates. I wanted to make a little informative blog post on the KidSuper website (www.KidSuper.com) about the current candidates for the upcoming election, I wanted it to be a simple description of there policies that anyone, without prior knowledge could understand. As I was writing and drawing these candidates with a friend, Jason Thompson who is the biggest star wars fan, I am talking 24 year old with life size Luke, Yoda, and Vader in his bedroom, we realized that these candidates were so extreme and so polarizing that they weren't simply human they were super heroes/villans... thus CANDIDATE WARS was created. I decided to print t-shirts out of them since I thought it was a funny way to show support or show people your politics.
I also thought it could go super viral.

This was an amazing collaboration. Just getting those three groups in one room was nearly impossible. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

I got the opportunity to teach screen printing for Converse’s Cons Project at Rubber Track Studios. I had never taught screen printing before and didn’t know how the crowd of people ranging from 13 years old to 33 would respond to the project. I had prepared some screens with some converse logos, some letters, and some KidSuper designs.
Screen printing is something you only get good at with practice and tons and tons of failed attempts. And I have failed many times.
I brought Will Erikson to help me teach, he had never done screen printing before, which made him in a weird way the perfect teacher and helper because he was learning as they were. I don’t think if you are the best at something it makes you the best teacher (i.e Maradona haha)
Right from the jump everyone was lining up to print some shirts. I don’t know if you have ever been to a concert in NYC but everyone is stiff, too cool for school. I thought that people were going to be reluctant to participate, afraid to look like they were “trying too hard.” I received the exact opposite response. Everyone was super excited to make they’re own personal shirt and were willing to fail and try new things. It was just fun to be in that environment. I was facilitating their creativity.
The best part was when the students wanted to experiment: creating marble effects, printing all over the shirts, combining hand drawings with screen printing. Will and I left the event feeling exuberant and like we really accomplished something that Saturday.

While I was painting one side of the wall of the store I spilled some paint on my shirt amd decided to paint the rest of my shirt.... then pants, jacket and backpack. The Painter Collection was born! Nearly every item is a one of a kind art piece.
Here is a look at the other wall of the store. Should we paint the ceiling?
I was a host for a Vice video, due to my good looks and soccer ability.

Whimsical things are stirring in Brooklyn - the culprit is the subject of this documentary, Colm Dillane aka KidSuper, the founder of the apparel store KidSuper. In this short film, award-winning filmmaker Alex Morsanutto (Silvermine Productions) captures the ever-changing life of KidSuper, from his do-it-yourself attitude towards his brand to his collaborations with Pro Era rappers like Joey Bada$$ and Flatbush Zombies.
"It seems the more I create, the more I branch out and meet countless talented and amazing people.
Everyone has a story and a talent, and with the right team and support the opportunities for success are endless. This is especially true for those people who have never been given a voice or a chance.
I want to create this chance!
I want to give them a stage and a spotlight!
I want to find people to collaborate and create with!
I want to highlight talent and skill!
I want to bring creative people together that would normally never meet!
I want to make superheroes!"

I was asked by a gallery to do something I had never done before. I spent the entire night welding and molding metal into a wearable mask. I had never welded before, my eyes itched from the burning light.
]]>I was offered to do a billboard, after much back and forth I realized the most effective way to get the attention of the passerby was a quote.
When I was 17 I got arrested for climbing a building and getting on the roof...etc ..etc. When I finally got down the cops said what were you doing up there, smoking weed, graffitiing, vandalizing? I responded,
"I climbed the fire escape to see the stars"
He didn't believe me, but it was true.
